As the owner and president of Players Mood Music Group Inc which does business as (DBA) Musicmenders, I have virtually always been involved in music at one level or another. Either as a musician, guitar and/or amp technician, service center or music store owner.

I began at the age of about 7 as a drummer and pursued that with a vengence, until about the time I turned 13 when the guitar began to work its magic on me thanks to the likes of Chuck Berry, Chet Atkins, and the Ventures, just to name a few. About that same time, I became interested in Amateur Radio and began spending a great deal of time studying, experimenting and learning about radio and electronics in general, often at the expense and destruction of my grandmother's radios and various other electronic devices.  In 1962  I earned my first FCC license and began a lifetime of interest and study in electronics, especially as it relates to music. I began working on my own guitar amplifiers as well as those of friends and acquaintances in about 1962. Soon I landed my first real job as an apprentice in a small TV repair shop on Beach Blvd in Jacksonville, Fl. There I found that I was given most all the audio equipment to repair as the old heads did all the TV work (it paid better). I continued to learn and study electronics both formally and informally for many years and continued working on guitars and amps as well as performing as a guitarist and vocalist...and occasionally as a drummer.

I found that it makes a great deal of difference to customers who are musicians to actually have an experienced musician repairing or servicing their gear. I work on guitars and amps as if they were my own and I had to personally perform with them. I consider it an honor and a privilege to service guitars and amplifiers for folks that have placed their trust in us.
